APAC's most advanced adhesive that give contractors an advantage over moisture emissions and alkilinity. These adhesives have high quality raw materials and high-solids making them high performing. Over the last several years APAC has been developing products to address the issues associated with excess moisture vapor emissions (MVE) in concrete slabs at new construction projects. Most of these issues center around fast tack construction. Often a concrete slab is not dry enough to meet the floor covering manufacturer's specifcation for installing their floor covering. Vapor Master adhesives can be used over concrete slabs that are over 60 to 90 days with elevated MVE. It is required that concrete slabs emission rates to be below eight pounds per ASTM 1869, or 90% relative humidity per ASTM F2170. In most cases we require that the pH be below 9.0. Higher reading will require remediation and possible treatment with ENCapSeal™ as a pH blocker.
Vapor Master adhesives are designed to have better water resistance than conventional adhesives, and also to have better vapor suppressing characteristics of the cured adhesive film. They serve as both an adhesive, and to a degree as a moisture vapor emissions retarder.
All Vapor Master Adhesives are very low in VOC emissions and many carry the CRI Green Label Plus. All exceed LEED requirements, for low emitting adhesives, and sealants. They are low in odor and safe for use in occupied buildings. As with any application of adhesives, sealants, waxes, strippers, coatings or paints, individuals who are hypersensitive to odors or that have breathing problems may want to leave the area during application.
All Vapor Master Adhesives contain ECOPROTEK© our proprietary blend of biocides that protect the adhesive from mold, mildew and bacteria in both the wet and dry state.

| VAPOR MASTER VM-568 Ultra Premium LVT, LVP & Vinyl Sheet Goods Adhesive

VM-568 is our solvent free, low odor, LEEDS, and CHPS compliant luxury vinyl tile, vinyl plank, and commercial vinyl sheetgoods adhesive. This product will achieve an exceptional bond over a broad range of substrates, with virtually all manufacturers of the afore mentioned floor coverings. Products manufactured by companies like Armstrong®, Tarkett®, Mannington®, MetroFlor®, Toli®, Earthwerks®, Congoleum®, Domco®, Nafco® and many others can be installed with VM568 in the most demanding of applications.
VM568 is a very hard setting acrylic based wet set vinyl flooring adhesive. This product is an excellent choice for installations that will see heavy roller traffic. Moreover VM568 is a Vapor Master product, and in this case that means that it can be used over concrete slabs that have up to 8 lbs. of moisture vapor emissions per ASTM 1869, or 90% R.H. per ASTM F2170. As with all Vapor Master Adhesives, we require intact vapor barriers under all on or below grade concrete slabs. VM568 is different from the rest of our Vapor Master line of adhesives in that it has excellent built in alkalinity resistance. This means that for concrete slabs with a pH of 11.0 or less you only have to do simple floor prep, which may consist of any combination of sanding, vacuuming, and damp moping the slab before the application of the adhesive, and floor covering. For slabs with a pH higher than 11.0 we require a 10% muriatic acid wash followed by double rinsing, and thorough drying of the slab before application of the adhesive, and floor covering. Unlike our other Vapor Master Adhesives VM568 does not require a coat of ENCapSeal™ after pH remediation. All substrates receiving installation of vinyl floor covering utilizing APAC VM568 must exhibit at least a minimal amount of porosity with the ability to absorb moisture topically. VM568 is not recommended over imperious substrates. VM-618 is a high solids, solvent free, CRI Green Label Plus Acrylic Pressure Sensitive flooring adhesive, that exceeds LEEDS, and CHPs criteria. This adhesive exhibits superior tack, and rebond, and can be used for vinyl & PVC backed carpet tile, as well as solid vinyl commercial sheetgoods. VM618 can be used over concrete slabs with moisture vapor emission rates of up to 6 lbs. per ASTM 1869, or 80% relative humidity per ASTM F2170, without any further moisture vapor remediation.
