ECOPROTEK® is APAC's unique blend of antimicrobial preservatives that are incorporated in all our preferred environmentally friendly adhesives, e.g. ECOlogical; the Classics. ECOPROTEK® protects APAC adhesives by inhibiting the growth of fungi, mold and mildew that cause offensive odors and stains during the life of the floor covering installation. This is many times referred to as "dry state" protection. ECOPROTEK® also provides "in pail" protection against deteriorating bacterium that cause spoilage and product loss during shipping, storage and handling. This is many times referred to as "wet state" protection.
